What's In Your Fridge?

What Your Fridge Says About You

For this weeks FOBTY at SSD we have to take a test about the contents of our fridge...

You like to be surrounded by things you love. You aren't exactly greedy, but you can be materialistic at times.

You are not careful with your money. In fact, you rarely think about how much you are spending.

You don't tend to be a very adventurous person, but you do surprise everyone now and then. You have a bit of a wild side.

You try to be responsible, but you don't always succeed. Your heart is in the right place though.

You are likely single - and a workaholic.

Whaahahahahahahahhahaha!!! Well, first of all I'm definitely not single. My boyfriend and I have been together since I was seventeen. And I'm also definitely not a workaholic. You might even call me lazy haha. But the rest of it is pretty accurate I think. But doesn't everyone like to be surrounded by things they love?

2 New layouts - Best of Summer & Little Diva

I have to new layouts to share. The first one is an ode to strawberries. When the first signs of summer show I get a craving for strawberries. I just LOVE them! This layout was chosen as Layout of the Day 6/10 at TDC, WOOT!

Almost everything by Shantilly Faire available at ES: Delightful Damask Paper Pack, Template Set 1, Bracketeer (acrylic brackets), Acrylic Alpha from Leap, Alpha and notepaper from Swim, Back to Basics: Cardstock (24 colors), Wordy Strings by Natalie Braxton, Stamped Alpha Brushes by Michelle Coleman, Photo from stock.xchng

Journaling: For me summer means eating lots of strawberries. I usually eat them on a sandwich with some sugar. I sometimes eat so many of them that I get an allergic reaction. I love strawberries!

Last week I found out I made into Shantilly Faire's CT. I'm so excited! I've been stalking her ever since she opened her store at Elemental Scraps and already own pretty much everything from her store. So I'm a cheap CT member LOL If you haven't checked her designs out yet you just have to go take a look at her amazing stuff at Elemental Scraps! Her designs are bright, colorful, clean and just plain fun!

The second layout features a photo of one of hamsters. She's a very lazy hamster, that's very fond of eating, so she's a bit chubby. But that makes her cute and cuddly! This layout was mentioned in the Standing O at OScraps, WOOT!

Almost everything by Danielle Young available at Oscraps:Drama Queen Page Kit, Black ribbon from Black Market Page Kit, Acrylic flower and folded ribbon from Chickadee Element Set, Paint strokes from Sweet Tropic Page Kit, Template by Kresta for Sketch challenge at TDC, Pin-Up Vintage Photo Frames No.4 by Katie Pertiet, Balderdash by Rachel Martin at ES, Unraveled by Emily Merritt at WST

For this layout I used Danielle Young's new kit Drama Queen. It's such a cute kit! I love the bright colors and those little crowns are just adorable! Image is clickable ;)

Danielle Young's CT has it's own Team Blog now! There's a challenge going on right now and you can win a $5 GC to Danielle's store. So go check it out! http://www.danielleyoungdesigns.com/teamblog/

SSD - From Our Blog To Yours

Well, I already took the test yesterday, before I knew this was the new FOBTY challenge at SSD. So I took it again and tried to fill in the same answers, hahaha. And the score came out the same, yay!

I am nerdier than 36% of all people. Are you a nerd? Click here to find out!

Apparently I'm not nerdy, but definitely not hip. Hmmm, so what AM I then? A wannabe nerd? I definitely wish I knew more of the answers. I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to physics and math, so I'm afraid I will never be a true nerd. My boyfriend took the test too and he had a score of 95%! My nerdy sweetheart LOL!

New layout - Ollie

I got another layout done today. It is for the Spin-A-Lift challenge at SSD and I lifted and mirrored mrs_jb's 5 Months:http://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/inspiration/showphoto.php?photo=28936&ppuser=3190

The picture is of my cute bunny Ollie. A year ago I saw him in a pet store and it was love at first sight. However, I promised my boyfriend not to take home any rabbits yet, because one of my hamsters just had 9 babies. But when I left him behind I just felt sick to my stomach. So when I got home I forced my boyfriend to come take a look at him and we decided to take him home with us. Because it would be my birthday the next day, my boyfriend gave me this little furball as a birthday present. And to this day I'm so happy with him! He's not as cuddly as he used to be, because he prefers to cuddle with his bunny girlfriend Izzy, who came to live with him last October, instead of me. But that's OK with me, that's how it's supposed to be!

SSD - From our blog to yours

For the From Our Blog to Yours challenge at SSD Angela asked us to write about our dream vacation spot. I haven't been to many countries yet, and never been outside of Europe, so there's still a lot I would love to see. Canada has been on my wish list for a long time, and Australia of course. And I would also love to go to Alaska one day. Oh and Egypt. And New Zealand. Obviously I can't choose, haha. But if I had to choose right now, I would go to Canada. My boyfriend has some family living there and he has been there already. So I would love to share this experience with him!

First blog entry EVER!!!

Well, I thought I'd start a blog too, since everyone is doing it nowadays. And hey when everyone is doing it... That's just the way I am ;) No seriously, I started this blog to document all my scrapping adventures and everything that happens to me outside of the scrapping world. (Is there such a thing?) I want to upload my layouts and have them nicely documented in one place just for me and for the occasional reader that happens to end up on my blog (like my mom, haha). Of course I'll be doing a lot of enabling for the wonderful designers I'm so lucky to create for too. Why not start right away?

Danielle Young has put this amazing kit in her store at Oscraps on May 29th. It's called Black Market and I absolutely love the black and white/cream color scheme! Go get it now! It's only $3! Image is clickable...

And here's a layout I did with it:
