Happiness Is...

I teamed up with the fabulous Sya from Sya's Blueprints to bring you this kit full of scrap happiness. Sya said that these colors reminded her of her favorite restaurant, her happy place. So we thought we'd make a kit to scrap all that happiness in your life. Okay, enough with the talking, here it is! Okay, here's another FOBTY from the Sweet Shoppe blog. We are supposed to find a random little trivia about birthdays and post it on our blogs. Here's what I found:

Although you might celebrate your birthday every year, your actual birthday only occurs once every 7 years! Not counting the leap years, the date you were born on moves each year to the following day of the week. This means your annual celebration is actually for your birth date - not your birthday - and in truth your birth day i.e. the actual day you were born on occurs only every 7 years!

Birthday Talk

This weeks FOBTY at SSD is about birthday, since this month it's SSD's 3rd birthday.

Ever since I've been a grown-up (well, I have reached the age of a grown-up LOL) birthday's haven't been as special. I remember how excited I was when I was little. The anticipation, counting the days. I must admit that nowadays I still get a little anxious when by birthday is coming close. But when the day comes it's just like every other day with a little present here and there LOL No nothing beats the anxiety of a child waiting for it's birthday to arrive. Sometimes I wish I could feel that feeling again...
